A series on being carried through a season you didn't choose. It works for a retreat weekend and reads just as well as a six-week study.
Sermon series ideas · Women's ministry
Women's ministry usually carries a series, a retreat and a midweek study at the same time, and all three want their own artwork.
These ideas are written to work in any of those rooms, so one visual system can cover a weekend retreat and the eight-week study that follows it.
The work in the gallery is ours. We’ve designed 48 approved pieces that match this topic for churches around the country, and you’re seeing the most recent of them.
The ideas
01
A series on being carried through a season you didn't choose. It works for a retreat weekend and reads just as well as a six-week study.
02
Weeks built around hospitality and the women who kept showing up for each other in Scripture. Pairs naturally with a dinner format rather than a lecture one.
03
A study of women in Scripture who are known by name and the ones who aren't. Good for a group that has already done the obvious ones.
04
Four weeks on comparison, capacity and the pressure to be everything for everyone. This is the one that fills a room fastest.
05
A short series about friendship between women who are in different seasons. Works well as a bridge between a retreat and the fall study.
06
A quieter series on prayer and rest, built for a retreat with real downtime in it. Keep the artwork calm and it'll do half the work of setting the tone.
Real work
Approved pieces from real churches. Title slides, promo sets, print and apparel, at each piece's true proportions because we don't crop work to fit a grid.

Graphics like these come with every plan. See how your Squad’s graphics team works or check what a plan costs.
Planning
Registration is the deadline, not the first session. Retreat art has to exist before sign-ups open, which is usually two to three months before the weekend itself.
Build the shirt and the print at the same time as the slides. A retreat has more physical touchpoints than a sermon series does, and they're the ones women actually keep.
Every other topic we’ve built is on the sermon series ideas hub.
Women's ministry
One idea, stated plainly enough to fit on a shirt. A theme that needs a paragraph to explain won't survive the weekend.
About twelve weeks for a retreat and four to six for a study series, since registration and childcare planning both depend on the announcement.
It should feel related without being identical. Sharing a type family and diverging on color is the usual answer.
Tell us the series and the date. Your Squad builds the slides, the social set and the print, and you'll spend that week on the message instead of on the artwork.
