Four weeks on people in Scripture who did something hard while scared. Easy to build repeatable art around and easy for a volunteer who's never taught before.

A run through the story of Scripture as one story rather than as a set of lessons. Good for a church whose kids know the pieces and haven't seen the shape.

A short series on being made on purpose, aimed at elementary. It hands your team an obvious tie-in for a family night.

Signage does more work than slides in a kids wing. Room numbers, check-in wayfinding and the parent handout all get read by a stressed adult who's holding two bags.
Build the take-home piece first. It's the only part of a kids series that'll reach the dinner table, and it's usually the last thing anyone designs.

How long should a kids series run?
Four weeks in elementary and shorter for preschool, since attendance in a kids room rotates even more than in the main service.
Should kids graphics match the adult series?
Only when the whole church is on one theme. Otherwise a kids room does better with a look that's built for its own age range.
What do parents need from kids ministry design?
Clear signs and a simple weekly handout. Everything else is for the kids.
