Project Manager (Strategy Division)

The Position
THE POSITION:
Church Media Squad is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager with a strong background in managing creative projects, specifically in graphic/web design and social media. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, ensuring smooth progress through each phase of the project lifecycle, and acting as a bridge between client needs and project constraints.. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, anticipate potential issues, and manage tasks using ClickUp to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality creative work.
This role is crucial to maintaining efficient workflows, ensuring revisions and approvals are completed on time, and addressing any roadblocks. The Project Manager will also be involved in client onboarding to capture key project requirements and ensure alignment from the outset.
All Church Media Squad employees work completely remotely. Full-time employees receive a company MacBook Pro after their first six weeks. Church Media Squad is an Apple-only environment.

Church Media Squad is based out of Salt Lake City, UT. The state of Utah has the lowest percentage of Christians in the country, with the Salt Lake Valley having less than 5% who consider themselves part of the Christian faith. Our Founder’s goal and hope is to be part of God's transformative movement in the Salt Lake Valley by making our base of operations here and helping church plants in Salt Lake Valley.

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in project management within a creative, digital, or agency environment.
Strong understanding of graphic design, web development, and social media project workflows.
Proficiency in project management software, specifically ClickUp, with working knowledge of Notion and Slack.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
Ability to assess and assign tasks based on team members' strengths and availability.
Proven experience managing client relationships, leading status calls, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to maintain task lists, track due dates, and ensure timely project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Task Tracking & Execution: Manage tasks using ClickUp, ensuring detailed task lists are maintained, due dates are tracked, and the status of projects is updated regularly. Monitor the overall progress of projects to ensure timely delivery.
Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Partner with designers, developers, social media teams, and other cross-functional members to manage both mid- and long-term strategic project schedules.
Ensure Project Progress: Oversee revisions, reviews, and approvals to ensure that all creative work progresses smoothly through each stage of development.
Anticipate Issues & Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify potential issues, communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders, and work to mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or deliverables.
Briefs & Project Plans: Develop comprehensive project briefs, detailed project plans, and timelines in collaboration with team members to ensure clarity and alignment on project goals.
Assess Project Requirements: Evaluate project requirements and assist in assigning the most suitable team members to projects based on skill sets, availability, and workload.
Team Capacity & Resource Monitoring: Keep leadership informed of team bandwidth and potential capacity issues, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and flagging when additional support is needed.
Discovery Calls: Participate in or review discovery calls with newly signed clients, assisting with taking detailed notes and ensuring key project milestones align with division capacity.
Use of Tools: Familiarity with Notion and Slack for communication and documentation. Collaborate with teams using these tools to facilitate effective project updates and maintain transparency.
Escalate Issues When Necessary: Escalate issues or risks to leadership when needed to maintain project timelines and client satisfaction.
Other Details:
Reports to the Director of Customer Experience.

This is a full-time W2 salaried position with a starting pay of $21.63 - $26.44 an hour.
