Data Analyst
One Full-Time Position

The Position
Church Media Squad is looking for a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join our Systems Squad. At Church Media Squad, we exist to make church media better, and our new Data Analyst will play a critical role in helping us achieve that goal by leading the data strategy for our 10-year vision.
The Data Analyst will work closely with the VP of Systems to conduct rigorous statistical analysis, build predictive models to identify at-risk partners, and develop advanced business intelligence dashboards. You will be responsible for translating complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making at the executive level.
All Church Media Squad employees work completely remotely. Full-time employees receive a company Mac after their first six weeks with Church Media Squad. Church Media Squad is an Apple-only environment.

Qualifications:
Data Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and modeling.
Statistical Analysis: Proven ability to conduct rigorous statistical analysis to identify correlations and causation.
Predictive Modeling: Experience building models (logistic regression, random forest, etc.) to forecast future trends.
BI Tools: Ability to create custom dashboards and data visualizations.
AI Integration: Experience leveraging AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate analysis workflows.
Communication: Excellent ability to translate technical findings into plain-English strategy.
Preference given to those with experience with Supabase (PostgreSQL) and architecting data warehouses.
Responsibilities:
The official working time for all member-facing Squad Members is +/- 2 hours of 9AM - 5 PM Central Standard Time (CST).
Collaborate with the VP of Systems to identify key business questions and churn hypotheses.
High amounts of collaboration with VPs and Directors to look into data to better understand trends.
Build and maintain predictive churn models to flag at-risk partners 90 days in advance.
Develop real-time executive dashboards using Supabase and visualization tools.
Partner with Systems Integrators to unify customer data across Squad and Remix products.

Other Details:
Reports to the VP of Systems.
Salary range: $85k - $105k.
TheSquad will purchase a Mac for you 6 weeks after your start date.
High-speed internet is required for this position.
This is a W2 Employee salaried position.
Preference to North America-based candidates.
Priority consideration given to candidates with experience working in or with Christian churches.
