The Squad Goals we hire and review by.
Seven of them, in the words we use with each other. They come up in interviews and in performance reviews.
- 01
Love The Little “c”
Serving the Church is why we exist. We are a company built by church people FOR church people. We love our individual local churches by faithfully serving in them. As a company, we care for each local church that we serve, becoming a remote part of that church’s team.
- 02
Nothing Hidden
We say what we mean and mean what we say. We are truth-tellers, both to our clients and each other. We never use asterisks to qualify what we say and when tough questions inevitably arise, we will work through them with respectful yet direct honesty.
- 03
Constant Improvement
We believe that success is measured against who we were yesterday. Each day we are looking for ways to serve better those around us, whether a Squad church or a Squad Member.
- 04
We Take our Art Seriously, Not Ourselves
We are serious about what we create but never take ourselves too seriously. We strive to exceed expectations. We are passionate about being a creative leader for the Church by helping tell her stories through art.
- 05
Efficiently Creative
Every day we strive to not only be creative but be efficiently creative. We strive to provide relevant, quality content in a timely fashion. Our goal is to save time for ourselves and our clients without sacrificing creativity.
- 06
Everything Together
Although the squad is located around the world, we still find time to engage with one another beyond our work responsibilities. We support and pray for each other and encourage relationships on a personal level.
- 07
Responsible Flexibility
We recognize that work-life is a key component of what shapes our lives, but not the only component. We value the importance of creating a healthy and responsible balance between our professional and personal lives. We value the role that boundaries play in maintaining full lives that honor Christ to remain healthy professionally, personally, spiritually, and physically.

How hiring works here.
We ask a lot of applicants. A skills test, four interviews, and a written review from every person you meet. We’re thorough because the churches we serve deserve it, and because you deserve teammates held to the same bar.
- 01
A skills test first
Before any interview conversation, the team you applied to sends a skills-based test. It is a practical compatibility check, and completing one does not guarantee an interview.
- 02
Four interviews
Applicants who come through the skills test move into interview rounds. Each round is four conversations, and we interview three applicants at the same time.
- Your direct hiring manager
- A VP or Director
- The CPO or COO
- Michael Tuszynski, our CEO
- 03
The One-Pager meeting
Every interviewer writes a one-page document and shares it with the others, so the decision is made on a complete picture rather than whoever spoke last.
- 04
The offer and onboarding
Once an offer is accepted, the new Squad Member is introduced to the people who run onboarding: Michael, the Squad Success Lead, and their own manager.
The full version has what each step is for, what happens to the candidate who comes second, and who runs your onboarding.
