Sales Operations & Development Specialist
One Full-Time Position

The Position
Church Media Squad is looking for a Full-Time Sales Operations & Development Specialist to join our growing Squad. At Church Media Squad, we exist to make church media better by helping local church ministries with graphic and video production, social strategy, website development, and full-scale branding.
Our new Sales Operations & Development Specialist will build and manage the operational engine that powers our sales function; handling organization, data, systems, and outbound execution so our Director of Sales can focus on relationships, strategy, and closing. This position is a full-time, salaried role.
All Church Media Squad employees work completely remotely. Full-time employees receive a company MacBook Pro after their first six weeks. Church Media Squad is an Apple-only environment.
About Church Media Squad:
Church Media Squad is based out of Salt Lake City, UT. The state of Utah has the lowest percentage of Christians in the country, with the Salt Lake Valley having less than 5% who consider themselves part of the Christian faith. Our Founder's goal and hope is to be part of God's transformative movement in the Salt Lake Valley by making our base of operations here and helping support church plants in Salt Lake Valley.

Qualifications:
Direct experience with CRM systems and sales operations is required to apply for this position.
Required proficiency with:
CRM management (Active Campaign, Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar) — Intermediate to Expert
Email sequencing and outbound tools — Intermediate
Spreadsheets and data organization — Intermediate to Expert
Calendar and scheduling tools (Calendly or similar) — Intermediate
Preference will be given to applicants with additional proficiency in:
Email and SMS automation platforms
Sales analytics and reporting tools
Lead generation and prospecting tools
Building Sales Ops systems from the ground up
Familiarity with these tools is a plus but not a requirement:
Active Campaign
Airtable
Vibe coding platforms such as Lovable
Preference is given to applicants based in the United States as travel can be expected multiple times per year. However, Church Media Squad employees are located worldwide, so any application is welcome.
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience working for a church or church-serving organization. This firsthand experience enables us to better serve the church staff we collaborate with daily.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Outbound Execution
Build targeted church lists using our Ideal Client Profile
Run outbound sequences, email campaigns, and DM outreach to nurture leads provided from our Marketing department
Book qualified meetings for Sales Reps
Follow up with conference generated leads
CRM & Process Management
Maintain accurate CRM data, tags, and pipeline stages in Active Campaign, in coordination with the marketing department.
Ensure inbound leads flow correctly from forms, ads, and website
Manage integrations between scheduling, forms, and email/SMS sequences
Maintain the library of scripts, templates, and pricing sheets as well as other sales-related documentation and videos.
Reporting & Administrative Support
Build weekly dashboards and performance reports
Track KPIs such as meetings booked, lead activity, and pipeline movement
Prepare proposal drafts and handoff documentation from templates
Assist in organizing conference outreach and follow-up plans
Department Support
Surface operational issues, broken workflows, or data inconsistencies
Keep sales resources updated and accessible
Support the Director with backend tasks tied to pipeline and follow-up
The official working time for all member-facing Squad Members is +/- 2 hours of 9AM - 5PM Central Standard Time (CST).
Regularly be in contact with the Squad via our company Slack.
Bi-weekly 1:1s with the Director of Sales (direct manager).
May involve travel 4-8 times per year for conferences or team meetings.
Other Details:
Reports to the Director of Sales.
High-speed internet is required for this position.
This is a full-time, salaried position with a starting pay range of $60,000 - $70,000 per year. Pay is dependent on location and experience.
