The life of a project.
Nine statuses run from the moment you submit to the moment you have the files. Three of them are yours to move. We handle the rest.
Three moments are yours.
A project waits on you three times: when something is missing before it can be scheduled, when a draft comes back for your feedback, and when the final files land. Each of those is a status you move yourself, and the project sits still until you do.
Everywhere else, Product Support and your designer move it along and nothing is needed from you.
The cards below are marked Your move wherever it is your turn. There are three.
Every status, in order.
Nine of them. The pill on each card says whose turn it is.

OPEN
Nothing needed from youEvery project you submit lands here. Leave it alone. Product Support reads it and moves it on, either straight into production or into one of the two holding states below.

MORE INFO NEEDED
Your moveProduct Support needs something more before the work can be scheduled against your due date. Add whatever is missing as a comment and then leave the project where it is. Moving it into RECEIVED yourself is the one action that can lose it, because nothing tells Product Support to look at it again.

RECEIVED
Product Support moves thisWe have everything we need. Product Support assigns a designer and the work starts. Nothing is required from you until a draft comes back.

DEPENDENT
Product Support moves thisThis project is waiting on another one of yours to finish first. A sermon series title card cannot be built before the series artwork it sits on, so this status holds it until the piece it depends on is done.

WAITING FEEDBACK
Your moveYour designer has sent a draft and is waiting on you. This is the stage where you move the project, and there are two ways to go.
Move it to NEEDS AN UPDATE
Leave your changes in the comments first. Your designer makes them and moves it back to WAITING FEEDBACK. That loop runs until the work is right, at no extra charge.
Move it to DELIVERABLES NEEDED
Use this when the design is right and you want the final files.

NEEDS AN UPDATE
Your designer moves thisYour designer is working through the changes you asked for. It comes back to WAITING FEEDBACK when the new draft is ready.

DELIVERABLES NEEDED
Your designer moves thisYour designer is packaging the final files at the sizes you need. When they are ready the project moves to FINAL FILES DELIVERED.

FINAL FILES DELIVERED
Your moveYour files are ready. Open the task and you will find a Dropbox link with the deliverables on it. There are two ways to go, and no rush either way: if you do nothing, the project is closed for you after a couple of days and the files stay right where they are.
Move it to CLOSED
Use this when the link has everything you need. Closing a project is what frees a slot for the next thing in your queue, so closing it yourself gets the next project moving sooner than waiting for the automatic close.
Move it back to DELIVERABLES NEEDED
Use this if a size or a file format is missing, and say in a comment which one. Your designer builds it and sends it back.

Nothing needed from youThe project is done and the slot it was holding is free. Nothing further is needed from you.
ON HOLD (Paused)
A project can be parked at any point. It stays there, holding nothing up, until you or your designer move it somewhere else.
